ACT Fibernet Router Login
192.168.0.1
Default login: 192.168.0.1 or 192.168.1.1; ACT's guide says admin / admin in most cases, else check the label
App: ACT Fibernet
Works only while your phone or laptop is on this router's Wi-Fi or cable. On a phone, turn mobile data off first. If nothing opens, your router uses another address. The page that opens is your router's own; Routers Network never sees what you type there.
Key points
- ACT's own guide sends you to 192.168.0.1 or 192.168.1.1 and says admin and admin work in most cases.
- A TP-Link Archer C5 V4 on retail firmware asks you to create a password at first login instead.
- ACT's guide gives the Wi-Fi password menus for TP-Link, D-Link and NETGEAR routers.
- Your ACT account login (mobile number, user ID, selfcare) is not the router login.
- Before a reset, get your internet login details from ACT, because the router may need them again.
On this page
The ACT Fibernet router login opens at 192.168.0.1, or at 192.168.1.1 on some boxes. ACT’s own setup guide says the username and password are admin and admin in most cases. A TP-Link router on retail firmware asks you to create a password at first login instead. If neither works, read the label under the router.
Which ACT Fibernet router do you have?
Turn the box over and read the brand and model on the label. None of ACT’s help pages name the router models it hands out, so the label is the surest guide.
| Your router | Address to try first | Login | Wi-Fi menu |
|---|---|---|---|
| TP-Link Archer C5 V4 | 192.168.0.1 | Password you create at first login | Basic > Wireless |
| Other TP-Link | 192.168.0.1 | admin / admin (older) or your own | Wireless > Wireless Security |
| D-Link | 192.168.0.1 or 192.168.1.1 | On the label | Wireless > Wireless Security |
| NETGEAR | 192.168.0.1 or 192.168.1.1 | On the label | Wireless > Security Options |
| Brand not listed | Both addresses | admin / admin, then the label | WiFi or Wireless page |
ACT Fibernet TP-Link router login
One ACT customer on TP-Link’s forum says ACT supplied their Archer C5 V4. TP-Link’s user guide for that model opens it at tplinkwifi.net or 192.168.0.1. The first visit asks you to create a strong password, then tap Let’s Get Started.
That password replaces any shared default, so admin and admin will not open a box that was set up this way. The reply in that forum thread adds that an ACT unit may run firmware made for ACT’s network. For more TP-Link models and app details, see the TP-Link router login guide, and for the address itself, the 192.168.0.1 login page.
ACT Fibernet D-Link and NETGEAR router login
ACT’s guide gives Wi-Fi menus for D-Link and NETGEAR routers at either address but names no model. Check the label for the login, then use the menu in the table above. D-Link boxes are covered model by model in the D-Link router guide. If 192.168.0.1 shows nothing, the 192.168.1.1 login page explains the other common address.
ACT Fibernet router login on a phone
- Join the ACT Wi-Fi network. ACT says the network name is usually printed on a sticker on the router.
- Turn mobile data off, and pause any VPN, so the phone stays on the home network.
- Type
http://192.168.0.1in the browser’s address bar, not the search box. - If nothing loads, type
http://192.168.1.1instead. - Sign in with admin and admin, the label pair, or the password set at first login.
On a laptop, a network cable to a LAN port works the same way.
ACT Fibernet router default password
| Your situation | Login to try |
|---|---|
| New router, not TP-Link | admin and admin, as ACT’s guide says, then the label |
| New TP-Link Archer C5 V4 | No default: create a password on the first screen |
| Older TP-Link model | admin and admin |
| TP-Link linked to a TP-Link ID | Your TP-Link ID login, as TP-Link notes |
| Set up by an installer or a past owner | Ask them, or reset the router |
ACT’s guide says the admin password usually sits under a System tab. On the Archer C5 V4 it is under Advanced > System Tools > Administration. Pick a long one using these tips for a strong router password.
ACT Fibernet WiFi password change
Sign in to the router first, then follow the row for your brand. ACT’s guide gives the first three rows; TP-Link’s own guide gives the Archer C5 V4 row.
| Brand | Menu | Security setting | Field for the new key |
|---|---|---|---|
| TP-Link (ACT guide) | Wireless > Wireless Security | WPA/WPA2 Personal (Recommended) | Password |
| D-Link | Wireless > Wireless Security | WPA2 only | Pre-Shared Key |
| NETGEAR | Wireless > Security Options | WPA2-PSK [AES] | Passphrase |
| TP-Link Archer C5 V4 | Basic > Wireless | set at Advanced > Wireless > Wireless Settings | Wireless password |
On the Archer C5 V4, the Wi-Fi name takes up to 32 characters and is case-sensitive. Changing it over Wi-Fi drops your connection, so rejoin with the new details. ACT’s Wi-Fi password article notes the key field may also be called Security Key. Save with Apply, Save or Submit, then reconnect every phone and TV.
ACT’s blog lists app steps under its Wi-Fi password heading: Account, then Change password, then accept the alert. Those steps sit in the account section, and the ACT Fibernet app listing names bills, tickets and a Wi-Fi analyser, not a Wi-Fi key change. ACT’s pages do not say whether those steps change the Wi-Fi key or the account password. If your devices still join with the old key afterwards, use the router page.
ACT Fibernet router password reset
A reset returns the Wi-Fi name and key to the values on the label and clears the admin password. On the Archer C5 V4 you then create a new one. Before a reset, check the Archer C5 V4 login page for a Forgot password link, which shows if Password Recovery was turned on earlier.
To reset, ACT says to press the reset button with a paperclip for about 10 seconds. TP-Link’s guide for the Archer C5 V4 says to hold it for more than 5 seconds.
After a reset, TP-Link warns that you must set up the internet connection again. For a PPPoE connection, the router asks for the username and password your provider gave you. Before you press the button, have these ready:
- The internet username and password that ACT gave you for the line.
- The Wi-Fi name and key you want to keep, so phones rejoin without new settings.
ACT Fibernet login with mobile number
This login is for your ACT account, not the router. You sign in to the ACT Fibernet app with your registered mobile number and password. The app’s home tab shows your user ID, plan and data use.
If you forgot the account password, use Forgot Password on selfcare.actcorp.in with your username and mobile number. ACT sends the password by SMS and email.
| Password | What it opens | Where to find or reset it |
|---|---|---|
| ACT account password | ACT app and selfcare | Forgot Password on selfcare, sent by SMS and email |
| Router admin password | The settings page at 192.168.0.1 or 192.168.1.1 | admin pair, label or first-login choice; a reset clears it |
| Wi-Fi key | Joining the network | Router label, or the router’s wireless page |
ACT Fibernet router support and tickets
To raise a ticket on the ACT website, open Support in the menu bar and choose your issue. Enter your registered mobile number or 12-digit account number, then the OTP. A chatbot then takes the ticket. In the app, tap Support in the bottom quick links. The app’s Wi-Fi analyser shows signal strength around your home.
If your line is from another Indian provider, see the BSNL router login steps or the Airtel Xstream Fiber login page. Other providers are listed on the ISP router guides by country page.
ACT Fibernet router login page not opening
For causes not listed below, work through the checklist for a router page that will not load.
"This site can't be reached" at 192.168.0.1
Try 192.168.1.1. Check that the phone is on the ACT Wi-Fi with mobile data off.
Search results appear instead of a login box
The address went into the search box. Tap the address bar and type it with http:// in front.
Page stays blank with a VPN on
TP-Link notes a VPN or proxy can block the router's local address. Turn it off and reload.
admin and admin are rejected
A newer TP-Link uses the password created at first login. An installer or past owner may also have changed it.
Router page opens but the Wi-Fi key is unknown
On the Archer C5 V4, TP-Link says to open Basic > Wireless to see or reset the key. ACT says other routers list it in the wireless settings section.
The selfcare page opens instead of the router
That is the ACT account login. Type the router address in the address bar instead.
No internet after a reset
Enter the PPPoE username and password from ACT again, or raise a ticket.
Conclusion
Read the label first, because the brand decides the address and whether admin and admin still work. Keep your ACT internet login details at hand before any reset. For a router you bought yourself, the router login finder helps you reach its page.

Frequently asked questions
What is the default username and password for an ACT Fibernet router?
ACT's own guide says admin and admin in most cases. A newer TP-Link box has no shared pair: whoever set it up first created the password, so read the label or ask that person.
Which router does ACT Fibernet provide?
ACT's help pages name no models. One customer on TP-Link's forum reports an Archer C5 V4 from ACT, and ACT's own help covers TP-Link, D-Link and NETGEAR menus. The label under your box names the model.
How do I find my ACT Fibernet WiFi password?
If nobody changed it, the Wi-Fi name and key are printed on the router label. If it was changed, open the router page from a cable or a connected device and read it on the wireless page.
Can I change my ACT Fibernet WiFi password online?
ACT's blog files an app Change password step under its Wi-Fi heading, but the step sits in the account section and the app listing names no Wi-Fi key feature. If your devices still join with the old key after trying it, change the key at home on the router's own page.
Will my ACT router work with another provider?
Maybe not. A reply on TP-Link's forum warns that an ACT-supplied unit may carry firmware tuned to ACT's network. Ask ACT before you switch providers.
