Jio AirFiber Router Login
Jio AirFiber publishes no web login page. Settings are changed in the JioHome app on your phone, from the App Store or Google Play.
Key points
- Jio publishes no browser address, username or admin password for AirFiber. Its controls sit in the JioHome app.
- Sign in to JioHome with the mobile number registered on your AirFiber account and the OTP Jio texts to it.
- The Wi-Fi name and key change under Network, then WiFi Settings, then Edit WiFi Name and Change Password.
- AirFiber alone gets a guest password with an expiry time, but cannot hide its Wi-Fi name yet.
- For faults, run Run Diagnostics in MyJio or message Jio on WhatsApp at 70005 70005.
On this page
Jio AirFiber router login happens in the JioHome app, not in a browser. You sign in with the mobile number registered on the connection and a one-time password (OTP), because Jio publishes no web address, username or admin password for AirFiber. The Wi-Fi name, the Wi-Fi key, a guest password and blocked devices are all managed in the app.
Which Jio box do you have?
Jio’s AirFiber page unboxes three items: an Outdoor Device, a Wi-Fi Router and a 4K TV Set Top Box. Jio also tells JioFiber customers they can add AirFiber as a backup service, so one home can hold both kinds of box. Other providers are grouped on the ISP router guides by country.
| Your box | How Jio names it | Where you manage it |
|---|---|---|
| Indoor Wi-Fi box on an AirFiber plan | Wi-Fi Router (Jio’s help also says JioHome Router) | JioHome app |
| Second AirFiber unit, separate from the router | Outdoor Device | No login published by Jio |
| TV box from the AirFiber kit | 4K TV Set Top Box | JioHome app remote |
| Router on a fibre line | Jio Home Gateway (JioFiber) | MyJio app, or the page linked below |
Jio AirFiber Wi-Fi Router
This is the box your phones connect to. Jio describes it as the latest Wi-Fi router, given at no extra cost, and its help pages call it the JioAirFiber Router or the JioHome Router. Jio names no maker or model for it, so trust the label on your own unit over any model list you find online.
Jio AirFiber Outdoor Device
Jio lists the Outdoor Device as its own part of the kit and publishes no sign-in for it. Many people search for a “jio airfiber modem login”, but Jio’s AirFiber pages do not call any unit a modem. Every AirFiber setting in Jio’s help is changed in JioHome.
Jio 4K set-top box
JioHome also works as the set-top box remote, so the TV tab and the network tab live in one app.
Wired JioFiber gateway
JioFiber is Jio’s fibre-line service, and Jio calls its router the Jio Home Gateway. That gateway has its own forum-reported web sign-in, covered in the JioFiber login at 192.168.29.1. Airtel sells a different product with a similar name; owners of that box need the Airtel Xstream AirFiber steps.
Jio AirFiber router login on a phone
- Install JioHome from Google Play, or from the App Store on an iPhone. The publisher is Jio Platforms Limited.
- Open the app and type the mobile number registered on your AirFiber account.
- Type the OTP that Jio sends to that number.
- Tap Network. Wi-Fi settings, guest access and connected devices all start from this tab.
On a laptop, Jio documents no browser route for Jio AirFiber router login, so use the app on your phone.
A second app in the store, JioHomeJFE, is built for Jio field engineers during installation and service visits. Customers need plain JioHome.
| App | What Jio’s pages use it for on AirFiber |
|---|---|
| JioHome | Sign-in by OTP, Wi-Fi name and key, guest password, blocking devices, set-top box remote |
| MyJio | Run Diagnostics under JioCare, for faults and weak coverage |
| JioHomeJFE | Jio field engineers only, not customers |
Jio AirFiber router default password
Jio has published no default username and password for the AirFiber router. Every Jio AirFiber router login that Jio documents is the JioHome sign-in by mobile number and OTP, with no admin password at any step.
The Wi-Fi key lets phones and TVs join, and you set it in JioHome. A web admin password, if your unit has one at all, is something Jio does not share, and no AirFiber setting in Jio’s help needs it.
Do not borrow the JioFiber pair. The admin and Jiocentrum sign-in comes from users of the wired fibre gateway, and nothing ties it to AirFiber. If you still want to look for a web page, first read the router address from your phone, where it appears as the router or gateway line. Then read the label on your own Wi-Fi Router. If neither shows a login, stop there rather than guess.
Change Jio AirFiber WiFi password
Change the Jio AirFiber WiFi password in the JioHome app: Network, then WiFi Settings, then Edit WiFi Name & Change Password. Saving a new name or key throws every connected device off the network for a moment. Jio says each one must join again with the new details, so keep the new key ready before you save.
Change WiFi password in the JioHome app
- Sign in to JioHome with your registered mobile number and OTP.
- Tap Network, then WiFi Settings.
- Under Home WiFi, open Edit WiFi Name & Change Password.
- Type a new password that meets the criteria the app shows, then tap Save. Jio’s steps never ask for the old key, so this also works when you have forgotten it.
- To rename the network, type the new Wi-Fi name within the name criteria shown and tap Save.
Jio’s JioHome FAQ gives a shorter version of the same steps: Network, then WiFi, then Change Password. These ideas for a strong Wi-Fi password help you pick a key that passes the app’s criteria.
Set a guest password
Jio’s guest password FAQ describes a second password for the same Wi-Fi network, with an expiry time you choose. Jio says it is currently supported for AirFiber connections. Visitors can join only until that time runs out, and you can change the guest password whenever you like. Open Network, then Guest, to set it. A separate guest network is a different setup, explained in how guest Wi-Fi networks work.
Block devices on Jio AirFiber
Jio’s block and unblock FAQ gives AirFiber its own steps in JioHome:
- Sign in to JioHome and tap Network, then Devices.
- Tap All and pick the phone, TV or laptop you want to stop.
- Switch on Block Internet.
- To let it back, switch the same toggle off. Jio’s FAQ names it Block Device at this step, but it is the same switch.
If blocking or unblocking does not take, Jio says to reboot the JioHome Router and try again. The same FAQ advises changing the Wi-Fi name and password from time to time to keep unknown devices off. The Connected Devices block screen in MyJio is written for JioFiber; Jio sends AirFiber users to JioHome for this.
Jio’s hide Wi-Fi ID FAQ says hiding and unhiding the Wi-Fi name is not available to AirFiber users yet.
The JioHome store listing names more network tools: a list of connected devices, network status, a speed test and the option to add a JioExtender. An extender repeats the Wi-Fi signal for rooms the router does not reach. The same app holds parental control for content access, screen time and usage, and these parental control basics explain the choices.
When to contact Jio about AirFiber
Before you call Jio, run the check built into MyJio. Jio’s Wi-Fi coverage FAQ confirms that AirFiber users can run it. Open MyJio, pick Home from the top menu, tap JioCare at the bottom and choose Run Diagnostics. If it finds a fault, tap Fix now or raise a Service Request. Jio says the scan can report slow speed, low signal, a router that is offline, a configuration error or too many devices.
The same Jio page suggests restarting the router, clearing objects out of the way and keeping the router in a central spot for better indoor coverage.
Jio publishes no reset steps for the AirFiber units, so ask Jio before you press any reset button. The factory reset checklist lists what a reset usually removes on a router. Jio’s support page lists WhatsApp 70005 70005 for JioFiber and JioAirFiber. Team JioHome, replying on its store listing, also gives the toll-free number 1800 896 9999 and asks you to send “Hello” on WhatsApp from your registered mobile number. The listing’s support email is JioFiberCare@jio.com.
Jio AirFiber login problems
For a router web page that refuses to load on a box other than AirFiber, use this checklist for a login page that will not open.
"Invalid username or password" after typing admin and Jiocentrum
That pair is reported for the wired JioFiber gateway, not AirFiber. Use the JioHome app with your mobile number and OTP instead.
Nothing opens at 192.168.29.1 or 192.168.31.1
Jio publishes no browser address for AirFiber. Read the router line in your phone's Wi-Fi details, or manage the network in JioHome.
"You have been logged out for security reasons" keeps returning in JioHome
Update JioHome from the store, then sign in again. If it keeps happening, message Jio on WhatsApp at 70005 70005.
The OTP never arrives
Jio's steps use the Registered Mobile Number on the account. Type that exact number, or ask Jio which number it holds.
No My Device or Wi-Fi Settings for AirFiber in MyJio
Those MyJio screens are for wired JioFiber. Open JioHome and tap Network.
No option to hide the Wi-Fi name
Jio does not offer hiding on AirFiber yet. Change the Wi-Fi key instead.
A blocked phone still gets online
Reboot the JioHome Router, as Jio advises, and check that Block Internet is still switched on for that device.
Every phone dropped off after a change
This is expected. Rejoin each one with the new Wi-Fi name and key.
Run Diagnostics says the router is offline
Restart the Wi-Fi Router, run the scan again and raise a Service Request from the same screen if the fault stays.
Conclusion
For AirFiber, skip guessed addresses and the JioFiber password, and keep the mobile number registered with Jio at hand for every change. When something breaks, run Run Diagnostics in MyJio first, then message Jio on WhatsApp at 70005 70005. If the box in your home turns out not to be from Jio, the router login finder helps you reach it.

Frequently asked questions
Does Jio AirFiber use 192.168.31.1?
No Jio page gives that address, or any other, for AirFiber. Websites that print it cite no Jio source. Your phone's Wi-Fi details show the real router address of the network you are on, and the label on your own unit is the only other place worth reading.
What is the default WiFi password of Jio AirFiber?
Jio's help pages do not say where the factory Wi-Fi key is printed. You do not need it to set a new one: Jio's JioHome steps ask only for your registered mobile number and the OTP, then let you type a fresh key.
I forgot my Jio AirFiber router password. What now?
If you mean the Wi-Fi key, sign in to JioHome and set a new one under Network and WiFi Settings. If you mean a web admin password, Jio has never published one for AirFiber and publishes no reset steps, so contact Jio rather than reset the unit.
Can I change the Jio AirFiber WiFi password in MyJio?
Jio's steps send AirFiber customers to the JioHome app for the Wi-Fi name and key. MyJio's My Device route is written for wired JioFiber. MyJio still helps AirFiber owners through Run Diagnostics under JioCare.
Is the Jio AirFiber outdoor unit the router?
No. Jio lists the Outdoor Device and the Wi-Fi Router as two separate parts of the kit. Phones join the Wi-Fi Router indoors, and that is the unit JioHome manages.
