IndiHome Router Login

By Routers Network team Checked

192.168.1.1

Login Admin Portal
Also try: 192.168.0.1

Default login: admin or user for a first login, or the pair printed on the back label

App: MyTelkomsel

Works only while your phone or laptop is on this router's Wi-Fi or cable. On a phone, turn mobile data off first. If nothing opens, your router uses another address. The page that opens is your router's own; Routers Network never sees what you type there.

Key points

  • Telkomsel, which now runs IndiHome, gives 192.168.1.1 for ZTE modems and 192.168.0.1 for TP-Link routers.
  • For a box nobody has signed in to, Telkomsel says to type admin or user in both boxes; the factory pair is on the back.
  • Huawei units can use a carrier address, so the nameplate decides.
  • The user account cannot change every setting. Telkomsel keeps the rest, and resetting can wipe the ISP setup.
  • Report faults in MyTelkomsel under Lapor Gangguan, or call 188 for a remote reset.

The IndiHome router login opens at 192.168.1.1 on most IndiHome modems, which Telkomsel names for ZTE units, and at 192.168.0.1 on a TP-Link router. If nobody has signed in yet, Telkomsel says to type admin or user in both boxes. Join the modem’s Wi-Fi first, or the page will not load.

Which IndiHome router do you have?

Look at the brand printed on the front or on the label underneath.

IndiHome ZTE modem login

ZTE boxes are the ones Telkomsel’s help pages name. Type 192.168.1.1, then try admin or user as both the username and the password. If neither works, read the pair printed on the back of the unit. People search for model numbers such as F609, F670L and F660, but Telkomsel does not say which ZTE models it ships, so trust the label over any model list. The ZTE fibre and SIM router logins page compares other ZTE boxes.

IndiHome Huawei router login

Telkomsel publishes no address for Huawei units. Huawei’s own help says the address is on the nameplate at the bottom and may differ on carrier versions, so read it from there. If your nameplate shows 192.168.100.1, the Huawei ONT steps at 192.168.100.1 match that screen. Huawei models such as the HG8245H and HG8145V5 turn up in searches, yet no Telkomsel page confirms them, so check the label before you trust any list. The Huawei router login by model page covers other Huawei boxes.

Some homes add a TP-Link router behind the IndiHome modem. Telkomsel gives it 192.168.0.1, and TP-Link adds tplinkwifi.net as a name that works on its own Wi-Fi. Older TP-Link models take admin for both fields, while newer ones ask you to create a password on the first visit. More on that split sits in the TP-Link router login page.

FiberHome login on IndiHome

Some readers have a FiberHome gateway, such as the HG6145D2. No Telkomsel or FiberHome page gives its login, so use the pair on its label. FiberHome’s HG6145D2 datasheet lists PON and LOS lights and remote management by the provider over TR-069, so the provider can set some options from its side.

IndiHome router login steps on a phone

Open the IndiHome admin page

  1. Join the IndiHome Wi-Fi with the name and key you already use at home.
  2. Turn mobile data off, so the phone cannot send the request over the mobile network instead.
  3. Type http://192.168.1.1 in the browser’s address bar. Telkomsel’s article says the search column, but a search box only returns web results.
  4. Enter admin or user in both boxes, or the pair from the label. The 192.168.1.1 login screen explains the “not secure” warning that some browsers show here.
  5. Tap Login. Telkomsel’s steps then use the Network menu on the left side of the screen.

If 192.168.1.1 does not open, read the address from the label or your phone’s Wi-Fi details. The guide to finding the gateway address shows where Android and iPhone keep it.

Admin and user accounts on IndiHome

IndiHome modems can hold more than one account. Telkomsel’s admin and user login article says admin access is for managing the modem. User rights can differ, so not every network setting can be changed from the user side.

The same article places the Wi-Fi name and key under the admin side, so sign in with the label pair or the first-login pair before you look for them. None of the Telkomsel pages cited here publishes a higher “super admin” login. Password lists for it online do not come from Telkomsel, and that account is meant for the ISP’s staff. If a menu you need is greyed out, ask IndiHome to change it. The default router password list shows how other ISPs split these accounts.

Change the IndiHome Wi-Fi name and password

Change the Wi-Fi name

  1. Sign in as above.
  2. Open Network or WLAN, then SSID Settings or Wireless Settings.
  3. In SSID Name, type the new name. Telkomsel’s Wi-Fi name article asks for no spaces or special characters, and no full name or home address.
  4. Tap Apply, then join the new name on every phone.

The name is the SSID, the network name phones look for, so devices will not rejoin on their own after the change.

For the key, Telkomsel’s English Wi-Fi password FAQ goes Network > Wireless (or WLAN) > Settings > Security, then the WPA Passphrase field. To only see the current key, Telkomsel points ZTE users to Network > Security. Its general path for other boxes is Wireless > Wireless Security, field Wireless Password. Expect every phone and laptop to ask for the new key after you save. For screens from other brands, see how to change a Wi-Fi password.

Red LOS light on an IndiHome modem

Telkomsel’s LOS troubleshooting article explains what each state means.

LightMeaning per TelkomselFirst step
LOS blinking redCable cut or signal lostCheck the yellow fibre cable is not bent, then restart the modem
PON steady greenStable connectionNormal. If the internet is slow, restart the phone or PC
LOS fully offGood signal, or the modem is offCheck the power adapter. If the modem is on and LOS is off, all is well

LOS stands for Loss of Signal: the modem gets no light through the fibre. A blinking red LOS points to a cable fault or a fault at the provider’s end. A blinking green PON is different, since Telkomsel reads it as an unstable signal rather than a cut line.

Ask a neighbour first. If their IndiHome works, the fault is likely the cable in your home. Check the yellow patch cord: it must sit firmly in the port and must not be bent or pinched. Then switch the modem off with the Power button, or pull the adapter for 10 seconds, and switch it back on.

Restart or reset an IndiHome modem

Before you restart, write down the Wi-Fi name and key. Telkomsel asks for this first, because a reset sends you back to setting both again. A restart is safe. Telkomsel’s IndiHome restart article says to hold the power button until the power light goes off, then wait 2 to 3 minutes before you switch it on. From the web page, Administration > System Management has two buttons: Reboot restarts the modem, while Restore Default returns it to factory settings.

Telkomsel’s 2026 LOS article warns never to press RESET, the small hole you push with a pin, because it erases the whole ISP configuration. Its older restart article treats the reset as a way to start over and set the Wi-Fi name and key again. Follow the newer warning: restart first, and if a reset is still needed, call 188 so customer service can reset the modem remotely. The factory reset guide lists what other routers lose.

Report an IndiHome fault or call 188

IndiHome accounts now sit in the MyTelkomsel app. Its Google Play listing says Telkomsel, IndiHome and Orbit accounts all open in one app. To report a fault, open Menu Bantuan > Lapor Gangguan and follow the ticket there. Telkomsel puts repairs at 3 to 24 hours after the report.

Call 188 when the app fails, which some app reviewers report for the modem menus, when settings are locked, or when LOS stays red after the checks. Other providers are grouped by country on the ISP router login hub.

IndiHome login not working

Work down this list in order when an IndiHome router login fails. None of the fixes needs a reset.

The page never loads

Telkomsel's first check is the network: the phone must be on the IndiHome Wi-Fi, with mobile data off.

Search results open instead of a login box

The address went into a search box, or was typed as 192.168.l.l with letters. Type the numbers and dots in the address bar.

admin and user are both refused

The login was probably changed. Check the spelling, try the pair from the back label, then ask IndiHome before you reset anything.

You are in, but menus are missing or grey

You are on the user account. Ask IndiHome on 188 for changes it controls.

Phones will not join after you renamed the Wi-Fi

They still look for the old name. On each phone, pick the new name from the list and type the key again.

192.168.1.1 opens nothing on a Huawei box

Huawei carrier versions can use another address. Read the nameplate underneath.

Conclusion

Find the brand on your modem, join its Wi-Fi with mobile data off, and use the address and login from its card. Leave the reset button alone unless IndiHome tells you to press it. For a router that is not from IndiHome, start at the router login page.

Frequently asked questions

Is there an IndiHome router default password?

There is no single published password. Telkomsel tells first-time users to try admin or user in both fields and to read the factory pair printed on the back of the unit.

Can I change the IndiHome Wi-Fi password in MyTelkomsel?

Telkomsel's pages describe MyTelkomsel for checking the IndiHome account and reporting faults, and they change the Wi-Fi key through the modem's web page. Use the browser method unless the app shows a Wi-Fi option for your line.

What is the super admin password on an IndiHome router?

Telkomsel does not publish one, and it is meant for the ISP's own staff. Lists of technician passwords online are not from Telkomsel, so ask 188 for any change your account cannot make.

Does resetting an IndiHome modem remove the internet settings?

It can. Telkomsel's fault guide says the reset button wipes the ISP configuration, so the line may stay down until IndiHome sets it up again.

What is the default gateway for IndiHome?

The default gateway is the modem's own address, usually 192.168.1.1 on ZTE units. Your phone's Wi-Fi details show the exact one for your box.
